Training and Experience
I am a UKCP accredited psychotherapist and a certified sensorimotor psychotherapist.  I trained as a psychodynamic therapist and also offer a  sensorimotor approach which is a talking therapy that draws upon the natural wisdom of the body.  I am experienced in a wide range of emotional and relationship difficulties, working one to one with individuals over the age of 18.
I have worked in the charitable sector and currently work in private practice.

Who I work with
People come and see me for many different reasons. Some of the things I can help with are:
anxiety, panic attacks, relationship problems, trauma, childhood trauma and complex trauma, family issues, loss, bereavement,  depression, work related stress and low self-worth.

How I Work
My aim is to provide a framework which will allow you to articulate and process difficult feelings or experiences in an environment that feels safe.
The relationship between therapist and client is very important. An initial appointment will give you an opportunity to talk about your concerns and a chance to experience how we might work together.
Sensorimotor psychotherapy will enable us to understand how your beliefs,  emotions, patterns of behaviour and trauma might be held in your body.

Qualifications:
I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Theory and Practice from WPF therapy in London.
I am a certified sensorimotor psychotherapist having trained with the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute focusing on developmental themes, trauma and complex trauma.
I am an accredited member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy and a member of the Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling.

Fee
My fee is £85 per session. I am registered with Aviva, AXA, Vitality and Preferred Health Care Providers Limited.
