About Me and How I Work

Taking the first step to see a counsellor can feel daunting, and I believe it’s important for you to feel comfortable with your counsellor. I am a qualified integrative relational counsellor and psychotherapist, and I see the relationship as being at the heart of my counselling approach. My aim is to provide a warm and trustworthy relationship, helping my clients to feel safe and secure to open up and explore their life, worries and relationships in a non-judgemental and confidential environment.

In my integrative approach, I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches (but in particular Person-Centred, Psychodynamic and CBT) according to my client’s individual needs, allowing us to work together in a tailored way.

Training and Experience

I have a Masters in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (University of Roehampton) and a BSc in Psychology (University of Southampton). I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I am bound by their Ethical Framework for Good Practice.

I have experience in working with people with addiction, or those affected by a loved one’s addiction; relationship and family issues; abuse; anxiety, depression, low self-esteem; as well as working with young people in a university setting. I offer both long- and short-term counselling, typically on a weekly basis, for adults aged 18+.

Fee

My fees are £70 per 50-minute session (face-to-face or online).

I offer a free 15-minute initial telephone conversation for you to ask any questions you may have about counselling, and to see if we are the right fit. If I’m unable to answer the phone, please leave a message or send me a text or email. Your enquiry will be dealt with in confidence and without any obligation.
